We got this amazing recipe from our friend Katie and had a chance to make it this past weekend and it is... AMAZING. If you're looking for a quick prep weeknight meal or for a special Game Day slow cooker meal this has to be it. This recipe is great in the slow cooker and finished either on the grill or for a few minutes under the boiler to crisp up the chicken skin. We think this would work well with chicken wings too or any other bone-in chicken too.

Ingredients 8-10 chicken drumsticks 1/2 cup honey (Waterford Bee Company Wildflower Honey!) 1/2 cup ketchup 2 garlic cloves (minced) 1 Tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. onion salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
***We added in a couple of extra dashes of cumin and paprika because why not.
***OH! We also decided that fresh garlic (4 cloves finely chopped), ginger (grated, about 1 Tbsp.) and some soy sauce (1-2 Tbsp.) gives this a nice Asian twist. Garnish with chopped green onions
Directions
Place the chicken drumsticks in the Crock-Pot.
In a small bowl, mix together the other ingredients and poor over the drumsticks.
Stir until drumsticks are covered with the sauce.
Cook for 4 hours at low setting.
Preheat BBQ at medium heat.
Oil the grill.
Grill the drumsticks on the BBQ for about 5-10 minutes turning when needed. (You can also place the drumsticks in the oven at broil for a few minutes, turning when needed).
